ANAEROBE 2000 is the first Congress of the Confederation of Anaerobic Societies --

  • Society for Anaerobic Microbiology
  • Japanese Association for Anaerobic Infection Research
to be held 10-12 July, 2000 in Manchester, England in association with the Manchester Metropolitan University.

Researchers, clinicians and industry from around the world are invited to attend and participate in this Congress to engage in presentations, exchanges, and dialogue on issues related to anaerobic study. A variety of topics relating to anaerobes will be addressed in general and concurrent sessions. Papers will be given by more than 200 participants, including talks by our distinguished international faculty and peer-reviewed oral and poster presentations by researchers from 30 countries over six continents. A Congress banquet will be held on the Sherlock Holmes Baker Street set at Granada Television Studios on the evening of Tuesday, July 11.
